I AM DRIVING UP 91 IN THE KIND OF MORNING THAT LASTS ALL AFTERNOON

I heard the song Why Georgia by John Mayer this morning. As corny as it is, that song really hit home with me today because it deals with, well, leaving shit behind (in my case, temporarily).

The song just screamed at me, "Skip your exit, Hugo."

So I did. I don't know where I drove today, but it was enlightening. I just drove and drove and drove until I wanted to turn around.

It turned out to be one of the most therapeutic things I've done in my little life yet.

I suggest everyone do this at least once in the coming weeks, unless you have to pick someone up at the airport or are in dire need of an emergency doctor.

Am I living it right?

...I would definitely say so.

OMFGZ LIVE MUSIC ALERT: The jazz combo I'm in (not my trio) is performing at my school tonight. For privacy reasons, I'm not going to name that school, so if you know where it is, show up at 8:00PM for a live show. Rock on.
