SPANISH TELEVISION: CREATING NEW LOWS, ALL THE TIME

I cannot stand Spanish television.

There's something so...novelty-esque about it that bothers me. All the programming is either novelas, programs based on celebrity gossip, tabloid news, and the only thing that cannot be dismissed -- world news.

I don't understand why these stations won't put out anything more substantial. It seems to me that these stations underestimate the intellect of many Spanish speakers who feel the same way I do.

It's a big reason as to why lots of people ridicule the Spanish speaking people. Everytime someone who doesn't speak Spanish mentions these channels, it's always about "the stupid shows about the Mexikunz that fall over each other."

I'm at the point where I want to mass-mail a complaint letter to all the stations that broadcast in Spanish.

Dear Station,

A vast majority of Spanish speakers ARE NOT FUCKING MORONS. GIVE US SOMETHING NOT SHOT ON DIGITAL CAMERA, GIVE US NON-SYNDICATED CRAP, GIVE US ORIGINAL MOVIES, GIVE US DRAMAS DRIVEN BY CHARACTERS -- NOT PLOT, AND MOST OF ALL, STOP GIVING SPANISH SPEAKERS A BAD REPUTATION.

YOUR PROGRAMMING IS BILE.

I think that could be the final draft. Have a good weekend, and remember, fuck those stations.
