While his comment on the GOP ("... it is pretty much a white, Christian party") was, well, a little over-the-top, Howard Dean deserves more respect and less backlash, methinks.

I know it seems like a tired argument, but why don't people understand that dissent is the very principle that this country was founded on? Speaking out against the government you have is just about the most patriotic, American thing to do -- that is, if one wants to stick to their conservative guns.

It just doesn't make any sense, all this... hostility and, err, shit launching towards the DNC Chairman. It just doesn't.

We should commend the guy; for once, someone directly involved with American government says something, like, honest.

On a lighter note, IT'S FUCKING SUMMER VACATION. BREAK OUT THE BEACH BOYS TUNES AND LET'S KICK ASS!
