GPOYW

Listen, we get it. It's you, in a silly picture you took of yourself, either in a socially glorified situation or precocious demeanor. As if having your own blog weren't enough, now there's an ironically named day to justify your own self-loving and cheap patchwork veiling your lack of inner-esteem. Go existential, right now: GPOYW is only a ploy, whether subconscious or completely conscious, to show a (marginal, internet-based and equally self-deprecating) audience that, oh, you don't take yourself too seriously when, in fact, all you do is take yourself seriously, even in this scheduled, cop-out gesture of extreme desperation to hopefully prove that you're not like any of us.
