Anywho, I hope your memorial day was nice. Mine was the same as every year: woke up and posted an upside-down flag on 'da blog. And do stuff with people I care about 'n shit. And then wanted to, again, slap someone in the face. Ahh, memories: I hate it when people who are so self-righteous and cerebral about music chastize pop songs for being "repetitive brainless bullshit."

They're the types who think all sonic innovation ended when Beethoven died and swear that Kind of Blue is "the greatest jazz record of all time."

Try writing a supposedly stupid song based on 8 bars. No more than 3 basic/non-embellished chords. Then mix it at Top 40 grade. When you're done, charter my jet. Thanks.
