I am a Los Angeles-based twentysomething. I have a profession, and I have a secret life in music, and this blog isn't about any of that. I like Blogger because I can't read what you're thinking.

HOLY BALLS

Our singer sent the final version of the first song on our EP!!! ab;oeinba;oweiha;ofeij~!blahah!

I am floored. I couldn't care less if this hype doesn't follow through with your expectations only because there is finally, after years and years of bullshit, a product. A product I am very proud of. A piece of art that has finally gone from conception to actual completion, ready for anyone to listen to.

Lots of musicians take their releases for granted, hell, sometimes they take the ability to put out a release for granted, but I haven't, and I will never. Ever ever ever ever.

This release is testament that it can be done. With enough hard work, sleepless nights, and the right people, it can work. It really can. 4 songs to wrap up. Then a campaign. Then a release. Now I know for sure it can be done. It will be my template for all future musical products.

Coincidentally, today our office launched our 5th e-business. I've been here for just under 8 months and there have been tremendous changes at this parent company. I'd like to take credit for telling the president to quickly reconsider moving to the internet or risk a slow death, but there were a lot of people involved in the process and I'm just glad to be part of the team.

----

It's nice to be part of several teams. It's humbling knowing that I cannot do anything on my own, no matter how much I try to tell myself I can. Crazy shit, man. Today's been a trip.

I'm not sitting easy, though. Anything can happen.
