BEATLES DERP A DERP A HERP A DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The free Girl Talk album is like candy for the brain. Just a relentless, constant barrage of pop music references at the speed of the internet. It almost sounds like the internet, as much as it feels like it.

Greg whatshisface--the man behind Girl Talk--operates on a level that is baffling in terms of production. He was in some copyright documentary a few years ago that profiled how he produced his music. Watching it gave me a headache: It was just stem after stem after plug-in after plug-in after sample after raw file after draft sample after 2nd draft sample after... let's just say that his project files are a CATASTROPHE. You can never tell, though, which is pretty cool.
