IF IT'S GOT A GOOD BEATLES STORY, YOU KNOW IT'S A GREAT ROCK DOC

Missed Circa Survive a little less than two weeks ago, so I've loaded them up in my queue to make up for it. I like that all their music is, in large part, gnarly and challenging keys, all with a focus on laser-precise melody. Not many bands can pull off their scale of sound by also keeping vocals as the intent.
They've got so much soul. Like Steve Perry-levels of soul. I'd like to see AP admit that.
Oh, wait, they won't, because they're assholes who've never seen a show out of LiveNation-sanctioned territory.

Their On Letting Go LP is a triumph.

Spaceland is going to go away in January. I genuinely wanted my band's debut show to be there.
Now I'm literally on a deadline for that.
As for the other band...
OH?
WHAT
OTHER
BAND!?
This is getting out of hand! :D

This Saturday some of the #wondays crew and myself will be going to the Savanna high school marching band competition. I haven't been since ...well, since I competed in high school marching band competitions (7 years ago -- W. T. F.)
I don't know why, but I've been itching to see a marching band competition. They are so fun to watch. Loud. Nerdy. It will be my first time as a spectator. Fuck yes.
