STAR JONES WARS

Now THAT'S something to wait in line for.

You know, I bet George Lucas is laughing hysterically, thinking, "OHMYFREAKINGGAWD, I CAN'T BELIEVE ALL THOSE NERDS WAITED AT THE CHINESE THEATRE FOR WEEKS THINKING THAT THEIR EFFORT WOULD PERSUADE ME IN PREMIERING MY NEW FILM THERE!!! HAHHAHAHA! I'M GOING TO CALL BILL GATES!"

So the final one, Episode Three, the FINAL installment, the creme de la -- fuck it, you know what it is -- it's premiering at the Arclight in Hollywood.

Rewind to about two hours ago, when a buddy of mine in class asked me somethin'.

"Hey, dude -- you like Audioslave?"

"Nope."

"Oh, I was just wondering if you wanted to go with me and a couple guys to their free show on Hollywood Boulevard."

I dismissed it, thinking, "Lame band, not worth driving on the 101 for."

Then I realized this.

Hollywood Boulevard is being shut down for a free Audioslave show for thousands of fans.

The Arclight is on Hollywood Boulevard -- one block away from the free Audioslave show.

THOUSANDS OF FREAKING STAR WARS NERDS + THOUSANDS OF FREAKING AUDIOSLAVE FANS = CHAOS

Oh, that's just beautiful.

Anywho, I'm not a big Star Wars nerd, but I do enjoy the movies (my dad, now that's another story). My friend Beau[ner] bought a bunch of tickets for tonight's midnight showing, so I got a couple.

I shall come back with much, much material. I can't even fathom the freak show I'm about to be a part of.

Seriously, I just can't.

I think I'll facilitate The Force and continue with my ongoing fear of finals.
