SUCKIN' THE DAY'S DICK

The last time I blogged from my home was before I moved from my last place some months back.

I've been so used to this routine:

1. Wake up
2. Shower
3. Go to cafe
4. Go to work
5. Blog after first sip of coffee

...that sitting in bed post-food coma and blogging just before I go to sleep is all a little too ...weird. Sort of like putting cream in your coffee after you've already poured the coffee when you've been so accustomed to putting cream in before you pour coffee. Yeah, it's the same thing, but, in the back of your mind, IT'S NOT.

I don't work today, which is fan-ta-bu-lous (yes, I just said that) so I have a whole day to catch up pre-production of our my group's EP (which is done in the writing process -- a new milestone for me) and, honestly, generally being awesome (which is also a new milestone for me -- feeling comfortable in my own skin and being generally content with the state of things in my life.)

It's 1:15 a.m. and fireworks are still going off. America? Fuck yeah.
