I've been absolutely addicted to contemporary bossa nova's Bebel Gilberto (daughter of Joao Gilberto!!!) and pop-jazz babe-o-rama Esperanza Spalding for the past 2 days.
Warning: Prophylactics are highly suggested for repeated listening.
I am so confused as to what kind of music I want to write it's kind of ridiculous. This stuff is right up my alley of voicings, but the stuff I'm doing right now is really for kids to kick each other's asses over, which is also great.
Rush and Big Time Rush are two very different things.
The Andy isn't a big music fan, but we get along just fine.
THE ANDY: So what'd you do last week?
HUGO: Worked and played music, nothing spectacular. You?
THE ANDY: I saw Rush.
THE ANDY: Yeah, it was cool.
HUGO: Since when do you listen to Rush? How do you even KNOW about Rush? Didn't you buy a 311 album last week?
THE ANDY: They're cool. Rush, I mean.
HUGO: ...Cool story, bro. So what did you think?
THE ANDY: They were good!
HUGO: Yeah, but how?
THE ANDY: I dunno. They were trippy. None of their songs made sense but I think that's why I liked them.
